Career
Ed has over 15 years’ experience in farm management, corporate agriculture and agricultural investment across multiple sectors including grain, cotton, beef, dairy and sheep.
Ed was one of the founders and Chief Investment Officer of the Sustainable Agriculture Fund an early leader in the development of agriculture as an asset class for Australian domestic super funds. He was responsible for the design and implementation of the fund’s investment strategy including sourcing assets, due diligence and initial set up of the operations. Ed subsequently became the Chief Operating Officer of the fund, overseeing the management of large scale farms spread across New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
After leaving SAF Ed provided independent advisory and property management services to institutional clients investing in Australian agribusiness.
Education
Ed holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland and post graduate qualifications in finance and investment.
